IT Security Consultant (f/m/d)

• Full or part-time (at least 50 %)
• in Berlin or from the home office (in Germany)

• Lead and execute IT security projects from inception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
• Develop security architectures and analyze technical requirements for client projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions on security best practices and technologies.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and regulatory requirements to provide informed recommendations.

• Proven experience in managing customer projects and delivering security solutions independently.
• Strong understanding of cyber security.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security or equivalent professional experience.
• Knowing relevant regulatory frameworks (like NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001) is highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security certifications is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
• Ability to translate complex security concepts into clear, actionable insights for clients.
• Knowledge of and ability to use formal project management skills in planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
